Picky avic. not eating

I've had this avic. metallica for almost a year now and she's always been a very picky eater, but slowly she's become less and less interested in feeding. She seems to enjoy faster prey, so I give her red runners, but even then, if she misses, she loses interest.

Is it common for avics to be this picky? She's a little thin and could definitely plump up a lot more, and I'm just hoping I'll be able to get her there some day.

How big is she? Could be that the prey is too big and the initial interest is more of a defensive strike.

If not try killing the roach and leaving it on her web to scavenge overnight

Decent size then. Was she eating runners before or was she eating different feeders?

When other members get on they'll be able to give better advice. I have no experience with this species tbh. Arachnoclown will be the man with the plan ;)

Crickets I'm assuming, since I got her from a pet store ( that wasn't caring for her properly:rolleyes:)
But haha thank you! Hopefully I'm just being a paranoid parent, I love her a lot.

Idk man. My pet shop is pretty good to the spiders even if the creature is in a small enclosure. I'll be thinking that a lot of new worlds don't have the greatest feeding response, but I'm probably OW master race. They do the things I like.
