My B.emilia sling is floating?!

Hey everyone
No i don‘t have a flying tarantula but sort of a problem tho. I often find my little sling floating on top of the water in her water dish. And I mean often, she‘s been doing this for weeks now. I tried raising humidity but that didnt seem to affect the behaviour, I think the enclosure is rather moist for a brachypelma. So do you have an idea why shes doing that? Should i push her back on the substrate or just let her do her thing?

Plenty big for her, I am using a housecricket box (the ones they are sold in) as I couldnt find anything smaller, she seemed to be doing fine tho shes about 1cm but since she seemed fine.. so you think the container is the cause??

Maybe try a smaller enclosure with dryer substrate and a smaller water dish. Try using tattoo ink cups. You can buy them on Amazon! View attachment 44360

Can you buy them with lids as well? Just found them without a lit

Enclosure is way too large for your sling. Your spider should be in something the size of the container on the left. Moist moss is all a sling needs to drink from at this size.
