My A seemani recently uncovered his hide which I thought he was molting in. I found no molt. Any idea why he would have done this? He is out and seems hungry after 57 days of not eating.

Its not uncommon for these to fast. When they fast they will typically web up their burrows until they decide its time to eat again. So nothing to worry about... sounds like typical fasting behavior.
