Mexican fireleg

I used to have a Mexican fireleg and she was quite fiesty. Always kicking hairs and threat posturing. Now I have another one and she is quite docile. No posturing no hair kicking and she moves slow and deliberately unless u startle her. I am tempted to try to handle her but don't think I will. I would hate to get a sudden hair kick in the face.....u never know
