I’ve had her for a couple years and never knew. I always just say “her” but never knew for sure. Idk what to look for so I don’t know if these help, if not I can take a better one later

You're going to find now that he feeds less and climbs nonstop, searching for a female.

This could lead him into trouble as he could get his tarsal claws stuck on the mesh screen and end up hanging unable to free himself.

Your options are:

1. Replace the mesh with plexiglass or similar with drilled ventilation holes. If you measure up, a good hardware shop can cut a piece for you or direct you to somewhere that can.
2. Fill the enclosure with substrate high enough that if he does climb to the screen, he can still touch the substrate.
3. Rehouse.

Good luck!

Ps. Basically those red 'things' you can see on the end of his palps are his emboli, which are sex organs that they use for breeding.

Males of certain species also get tibial hooks when they mature (upper circle).

For the future, if you're about to post a ventral photo (image of the abdomen of a tarantula), this is the part that should be very clear. Preferably zoomed in as well, but not to the detriment of clearness. :)
