i I'm a newbie in this hobby. Can you ID this tarantula for me? The seller said its a T. Albopilosus. Thanks!

At that size it could be a number of things but if it was sold as an albo then it’s an albo for now. What makes you think it isn’t?

btw take stones out of the water dish. They aren’t needed and can harbour bacteria

Thank you. Will remove it later. I hope it turns out to be a female. As it grows will it have more hair?

Yes but it depends on what Albopilosus it is. Nicaraguan is a lot hairier than the Honduran

I think I should also remove the water dish, and just mist the enclosure, I always fill his waterdish but he always covers it with substrate.

Filling the water dish is better. It’s something that pretty much every tarantula does, fill the dish with substrate or web over it. Misting evaporates very quickly.

It’s ok to but not very necessary with something like a Tliltocatl. Ts get most of their hydration from their food but a water dish provides extra fluids if they need it. Have spotted a lot of our Ts actively going to their dish to drink
