How dirty do you guys let water dishes get before replacing them?

There's a tiny bit of substrate in mine right now, just specks nothing solid. When do you guys completely empty it instead of just refilling?

As soon as I see substrate oversaturating the dish, I dump it and replace with clean water.

For me, it depends. Sometimes a water bowl can end up looking like a muddy puddle. Especially if it's in the enclosure of a T that tends to be defensive. As why upset it, just to clean a water bowl? Presumably they drink from muddy puddles in the wild?

A few specks of sub??? No biggie! There nightly travels can put those few specks in. But they like to bury, poo, drop bollus etc! It's time for a clean out! As M0lsx pointed out a lot of spoods drink from not so good a source in nature.
