Just a little house spider...caught that palmetto bug all on its own...I probably would have fed it if it hadn't been so successful!

I've heard of palmetto bugs, never knew they were roaches. Interesting.

Palmetto bug is a polite euphemism for big GD roach...

I decided to "home" this ambitious fatty(she really was making a mess)...now that I have gotten a better look at her in a small enclosure I think she is a false widow - either steadora grosso or nobilo...pics to follow when she seems to be adjusted - hate to disturb her again

Looks like a Parasteatoda sp. They hunt like Black Widows....interesting species.
