Got my FIRST tarantula

I am new and recently just ordered a Brachypelma baumgarteni (Mexican Orange Beauty) 1 1/4", any advice is greatly appreciated. It should come in a few days I am very excited!

Hi Inky, welcome to the hobby. Brachypelma are easy to keep, all they need is dry substrate, a hide and a water bowl.

That is Grammostola iheringi. I managed to find one for sale. It is a female and about 3.5-4" DLS now. Here is the whole pic:
