GoT final season. Possible spoilers.

So, my all time favorite mini series is over. The final season was pure ****. The ending was ****. How can they do this? How? My girl Dany is dead, killed by an annoying faggot, who should have stayed dead. Because he betrayed his people and let the caravans cross the border into Castle Black. Now theres aids and zika virus everywhere. And my second favorite, the badass assassin...she sails off to explore? She's Columbus now? FFS! TERRIBLE WRITING, GEORGE!! Even the damned actors seemed confused and embarrased by the ending plot. And Bran...Bran, the shell of a boy, is high king? I could go on, but what's the point? They've ruined the whole damned thing.

@MassExodus I've been contemplating on finishing the whole series now. I was late to the party on GOT but started watching it in order from the beginning recently and got hooked. Im on still season 7 but just really disappointed now, social media has spoiled it the entire last season and i can tell just from that how terrible the ending is. I just don't know if i should finish it for closure or just remember it for what it was lol i know what happens now so what's the point

Do yourself a favor, skip it. It really is depressing what they did to it. Terrible writing in season 8, all of it..

I can understand executing the enemy soldiers who were loyal to Cersi and who were responsible for killing Missandei so horribly and backing an evil tyrant, but I can't understand torching the whole city and killing innocents. WTH? That was just dumb. Made me mad.

And having the master assassin, woman of any face, clan killing, able to sneak up on anyone anywhere anytime, bumbling around like a scared little girl? WTH was that?

Jamie and Cersi's death was stupid. Just dumb. They deserved so much worse.

Selecting a new king was stupid. Jon Snow was heir to the now melted throne. So what if he killed his murderous aunt. Its still his damn kingdom. And if he could ride and control the dragon, why the hell is he on foot or on a horse? Why did the dragon leave instead of stay with him since he's a Targaryen and gets to do dragon stuff? Where did the dragon go? How does anyone know what happened to Dani since the dragon took off with the evidence before anyone saw it. She went all bat**** Targaryen crazy on the whole city, so how do they know she didn't just take off on her dragon never to be seen again?

And the dragons... One minute they are stupid hapless victims shot right out of the sky and the next minute they suddenly can fly right into the giant crossbows and expertly dodge them? Ridiculous. Too unbelievable. Stupid.

Disappointing. So much more could have been done. No reason to end the series, and if they did want to end it, this was not the way to do it.

The whole thing seemed to start at season seven, and just got worse and worse. It all felt rushed. Or maybe Martin is a lush, or syphilis has destroyed his mind..maybe meth...
