Fungi/mold

Hi everyone,

I just got home and there is a mushroom growing in my enclosure

Should I clean and empty the whole thing or just remove the fungi and leave it?
I don't anything about mushrooms etc
It seems to have grown from the damp area around the water dish

Could it be harmful for my T, should I just remove it regardless??

It's cute!

You can leave it, or pull it. Reduce water in the substrate and/or add custodians, like springtails

Just remove it. It does happen from time to time.

In dry enclosures, where I overflow water dishes, I move the water bowl & thus each area always dries out totally. But occasionally. Even in a dry enclosure, mushrooms are a possibility.
