I saw my GBB sling on it's back and thought oh cool it's molting but then whe ni got up to leave it flipped right back over and is acting like nothing happened? Why did it do this? I didn't touch it or move it or anything.
Yeah it had was laying on webbing but i'm not sure if it would call it a molt mat like it was just some webbing that was there but idkDoes it look like there is webbing (a molt mat) where it was laying? It could have fallen, perhaps and landed that way.
no it's only a less than inch slingIs your GBB a mature male?
Yeah idk it's enclosure is kinda big for it and i wanna transfer it to something smaller but not if i think it's going to molt anytime soonI missed that in the OP. All good I guess.
Spiders do weird things sometimes.
I gotchaPictures?
Of the enclosure, and the spider would help
should I put it in like a taller deli cup style enclosure?I will agree the enclosure is a little big, and could use several more anchor points for webbing.
Our GBB rarely went to the ground as a sling and constructed webbing towards the top of the enclosure. If also spend most of its time up there, even in full view. I think GBBs tend to do better in taller closures as slings and juveniles.
ngl I got one for my sling A. genic and sling A. hentzi and well.. i wasn't super impressed and changed them out. i still have them so if they'll work better for my GBB then i'll use them
