It is a cicada. We have a lot of them during late summer. This one was sitting on my door frame, enjoying life

All contests prior have had to be pets you own. I do love all the photos used but they clearly are not pets. Doesn’t anyone own a invertebrate other then a spider? @Phil wheres that cricket photo???
I’m horrible at taking photos but I just might have to borrow a camera and show you guys some invertebrates.

Here it is....my invertebrate entry for February. Somehow I don't think I am in the running to defend my January title!
