Change of housing ( forced)

My t. Alb sling had buried itself away. Haven't seen it for weeks but i foolishly had placed an egg carton housing in there and it was starting to look soggy, i didn't want to wait until it went mouldy.
I dug it out and put a plastic bottle cap in as a replacement. He appears to have made an entire London underground. I dont think he even needs the use of a housing.
My only concern is how and when to feed .

You can just place a pre killed cricket or mealworm ( crush the head) in there for him... Leave it overnight and remove the next day.. It will come out to eat if it wants to just make sure it has water available and it will be fine :)

Thanks, was thinking (not sure why ) that he needed live food .
Will follow your advice. Saw him from the underside of the container, he has gotten well hidden!
