My local online sales sites such as Gumtree are full of people offering this & to take unwanted T's from people. It is not a bad way to buy cheap T's.

Yes I am in the UK, but if it is happening here, then it should work there too. Most of these sites allow wanted ad's, so why not place one & keep an eye on who is selling what close to you. I have several saved searches that result in an email when someone advertises Tarantulas close to me. & I have picked up some real bargains locally as a result.

Post an ad on Craigslist and Nextdoor
Check with local pet stores, especially ones that don't sell inverts. People come in all the time looking to give up pets.
