Buried superworm dug up?

I put a superworm in my LP's enclosure that buried itself b4 she got to it. (Guess I didn't crush the head enuf.) Anyway, about an hour later she was standing over a small hole she apparently dug that was about 5 inches from where the worm went underground. I couldn't tell if the spider got the worm but I was wondering if LPs (or Ts in general) have been known to dig up prey. If so, I'm guessing she may have sensed vibration and decided to check it out. Any thoughts on that? Thanx.

Yes...I've seen many of my tarantulas dig up prey. I'd keep a watch for it. Put some carrots in the corner and see if you can draw it out. I find cutting the heads off with scissors is the best way to use superworms.
