Feed these little monsters... Poecilotheria vittata. First meal other then their siblings. Lost 20-25 from cannibalism. Many were lost at first instar. So far vittata is the most cannibalistic of the pokies for me.View attachment 53386

Day 30...shes been walking around with it for the last 30 days. She hasn't once been in her burrow (she filled it in before dropping the sack). I covered the enclosure with a dark towel and left her alone.

Time to pull it....

A little something to take the edge off...

The sack...between 425-450 eggs with legs. No bad eggs...all have molted to eggs with legs. Thanks to @Casey K. and her male.

Heres a small juvenile female Caribena versicolor with no substrate. Just a little moss and a large water dish. Cross ventilation only. She prefers the back of her pad.

New addition today from @Casey K. Set her up in a Zoomed low profile enclosure. Sand, carbon, peat, topsoil and coco fiber for substrate with a little moss for color.

I moved in July and haven't posted anything in the new spider room. I also Down sized my collection to only 95. This room is alot smaller then my previous room. This is all temporary though, Next summer I'll be building my new tarantula shop.

Rehoused my Phormingochilus ackaya, it's shy.

Rehoused my Gbb. Used one of those garbage thermometer / humidity gauges as a anchor point.

Rehoused my female Psalmopoeus irminia.

This week my 25 year old Grammostola porteri molted.
