My T. blondi female had a bad molt, despite having a very moist home, lots of moss and perpetually damp substrate, it went badly and she lost both her pedipalps as they must have gotten stuck or something. I don't have pictures of the fresh molt because I'm too lazy to set up my camera lol

H. Maculata, P. Ornata, P. subfusca, P. sazimai, heck, can't go wrong with those Xenesthis species; they're beautiful.

How are you measuring them? Diagonal leg length?

Dubia's are federally prohibited in Canada or I would be, I've seen listings for them on one of our buy/sell websites but I'm always dubious (haha..) of them, like how are they getting away with selling them when they're illegal.

Proven by whom? lmao. Show me the scientific papers/studies. How is the point "quite different" in any regard beyond the humidity question; you basically repeated everything I said except for the humidity, which goes to show you didn't read my post and just reacted to the first line...

You didn't read my whole post, I talked about the high levels of cross ventilation and suggested that the substrate should be wet enough to remain dark, but not swampy, thanks for repeating quite literally almost everything I said.

To clarify, most to all species benefit most from cross ventilation, but avics seem to REALLY depend on good cross ventilation with constant, gentle airflow.

I saw that someone mentioned P. gigas. I have 5 of them, all sub-juvenile and so far they are moderately decent eaters; and 2 of the 5 are almost always on display, one has decided to burrow under the moss and cork bark to build his house, one has decided to make a tunnel all the way around...

I've never known a P. metallica to be on display. Mine are constantly hiding and if they're not hiding, will bolt to their hiding spot at the first sign of movement in the room. That's been my experience with that species
