Hi guys I am somewhat new to the hobby. I have an OBT in a 10gal the spider is approx. 4ish inches. It wont stay down on the substrate. Now I dont mean I sometimes find it up top. I mean It keeps building web nests in the top corner to include the lid. Since these guy move by teleporting around...
So 3 times now my Sling has made a little substrate and web cover and she sets it over the hole to her burrow.
I just move it to the side so I can drop a cricket in. Is this a normal behavior(Red Knee) should I just leave it alone?
Is she maybe "cleaning house"?
As an update.... I am now convinced I am raising an 8 legged pigglet:p. Just yesterday she ate 2 crickets. 1 live(it ran right down the burrow to her) and the prekill I had placed JIK. so now she wont get more till Tues. If I should feed again sooner someone let me know.
PS I have seem her all...
