I'd say the body size is about 2.5 -3 inches at the absolute most. I feel like it has some growing to do, but I dont have another one to reference really. Definitely has some long skinny legs.
Thanks for the replies, definitely cool to know it's an Auratum instead of Hamorii. I'll continue with trying to feed him occasionally now that I know it's not in pre molt, as the pet store had told me.
So I recently picked up a Brachypelma Hamorii from my local pet store. It has a big bald spot on its abdomen, which I think can be a sign of being in pre molt, but it was also flicking a lot of hairs the day I got it, which can cause the bald spot I know too.

Thanks everyone for getting back to me so quick. I'm gonna go get more soil for him so he can dig more. In the mean time, I'm using a piece of cardboard until I can get some plexi glass. I figure anything is better than the screen. This is what I have going on now:
Hey everyone, I'm a new tarantula owner, I've had my guy here for about a month. I came home today and found him hanging by one leg from the screen lid on his enclosure freaking out and trying to grab anything in reach. I tapped the lid and he fell down (which I now realize was not the best way...
