hi! im a new member as well and TOTALLY hooked on tarantulas!! lol i got mine from a friend as adults. im pretty sure i have a desert blonde, but the other 2 im not so sure. i also have a desert hairy scorpion and 3 cats.

first time i saw my striped knee T do this i thought she died! then i called my friend and he told me she was molting. once i calmed down i just sat back and enjoyed the transformation. so neat!
i have had similar questions myself. i bought my first chaco sling and just a day or so ago she died. i was so sad. plus i don't know what i did wrong, so i can fix it for the next little guy.

my critters were given to me a few months ago. Before that, I would have never thought about having a scorpion or tarantula as a pet. I love having them.
