I now have a vision of her, sitting on her spotless chintz sofa, feet up, sipping tea from a fine china cup, gazing over to her spider (who is ravaging two large roaches) and fondly saying 'My dear, as long as I have you I can weather any storm.'

Fingers crossed for attending! Got some art to put in the show because... it seemed like a good idea at the time. :p My fondest memory was going to the show and seeing these two older ladies, probably in their mid 70's, exquisitely well-turned-out in terms of hairstyles and dress (we're talking...

This is what I do with the storage box (well, an old fat ball feeder tub) it's great for sling/juvie care and also saves my back a little.

This little cutie is nearly a year old, even at this age, they show signs of the temperament they're famous for. Also, heck no! Please don't think you said something wrong! They also give me something to look forward to in the long term too, especially the slings, I'm not just going from day...

I know this is a bit of a joke (and honestly, the idea is pretty funny! :p) but I've had something world-shattering happen recently and my T's/phasmids have helped a lot with dealing with the day. When I go and feed and clean up after them I put on some music and zone out for a couple of hours...

I managed to pick up two more e.campestratus at an expo and grabbed a couple of h.chilensis because I really really feel like I need some extra frustration in my life. o_O My b.emelia sling has been buried for.... four months now, if it had been my first or only tarantula I honestly don't think...

Just got back from Entocon, got 2 homoeomma chilensis and 2 eupalaestrus campestratus (because I want to exercise my patience) along with some new phasmids and I'm absolutely shattered.

    Who's molted today

My second a.genic, a 1cm sling just, molted. I kind of like more grown on slings, but these babies have been fascinated and in my head, I am now their mum.

I tried to ban myself from buying any online, but then, at the time, I thought Brexit was around the corner so I bought a mystery box from Spiderworld because I wanted to experience getting one. Then I was having a bad week and The Spider Shop had some Eupalaestrus campestratus for sale so had...

    Who's molted today

My Phormictopus atrichomatus and psalmopoeus cambridgei. Unfortunately, I hadn't noticed the p.cambridgei had molted as it had tucked itself away behind one of its hides and I caught it while I was dampening the substrate and it went flying, it's only like a 2cm sling, so hopefully, it'll be ok...
