rather you than me little fella!

This brings up a question for me. I have read about breeding but have not attempted as I don't have a good breeding pair yet. But I have a MM aphonopelma chalcodes that I'm looking for a nice (haha) female for. If my other turns out to be a male too. (Waiting on it to molt to sex it.) What are his chances of survival?

Good luck breeding this species. They are a difficult species to breed due to environmental simulation and cannibalism (females are B*TCHES for REAL!!!). :) I've produced 1 successful sac (thanks to my friend @Austin S. ). He could breed and produce these in his sleep! Ha ha ha ha...

@Casey K. she is really gentle. Doing all the foreplay and went straight to him drumming. He is really really old and tbh well past his sell by so I am not expecting any success at all but was interested to see the females reaction as thanks to @T-Baby there is a big strong buck waiting in the wings (hopefully hook out at next moult).

@Aprilshowerz72 not attempted that species but I have tried, B albopolisum, B hamorri, A. geniculata, GBB, M balfouri. Interestingly the only death was a different male on my female M balfouri who basically would not leave him alone and chased home everywhere. she didnt eat him but he list a leg and just became too weak. He was an old boy too.
