Heterodon nasicus (Western Hognose) - Wyatt

This little guy is unstoppable, always on the move and always hungry to the point where he gave me a first bite today thinking my finger was food.

We can't keep any native species. In Alberta we can get Madagascar hognose but they are much larger and don't have the charm of the little western hognose.

That's sad. I really love their funny little behaviours, especially the hilarious way they play dead, tongue hanging out n all haha

Now I've learnt something new, after all my years of breeding them I had never realised they were native to Canada as well as the US.
