Any tips on finding escapees? It's only about 2cm... I've pulled the place apart.. Little shit loves to bolt! I'm scared to move anything in case I hurt it or worse... ANY advice would be greatly appreciated

I found one of mine just by shining a torch round especially in corners. Like you I'd torn the room apart and then after about an hour I spotted her with the torch just 1' from her container she was in the corner of the sideboard where the sliding glass doors met the woodwork.

I had an escapee today too, my Neostenotarsus sp Suriname made a run for it while I was rehousing it. It jumped 3'+ from the dresser onto the floor, 4' across the carpet in full view and was attempting to climb into a cardboard box when I caught it. I was terrified as our kitten was in the room but luckily she didn't spot the T.

LOL, glad you found it! :D
I had a situation with C darlingi twice while trying to feed it. Jumps off the coffee table and then I had to pick through the hairy carpet to find it.

I swear though that little pokie is a proper jack in the box, literally jumps out haha... I wouldn't have been popular in the house lol not that I am anyway :D

I've had both of mine do it, although they're not slings. I've never seen any other species move that fast. Pokies..:T:
