Oh ok. I breed roaches :) My lobsters and pallids are all in the same tub. I started with about 700 a month ago, they must easily be on over 2000 by now. They reproduce at a rapid rate so I always have a mass of different sizes. From 2mm to 40mm. I have friends who get free roaches for their T's...
Have you tried roaches? Best meat to shell ratio. They are super fat gutloaded. And if you get glass climbers like lobster or pallids, that would be perfect for your avic :)
GBB are semi-arboreal. With the amount of webbing she has done now all over the show, she will simply fall into her web. In fact there is no more place to fall with the amount of webbing everywhere. She does however prefer to hide in her ground level tunnel. The bottom pebbles is vermiculite, it...
So I picked up a new 3cm smithi today, freshly moulted. I transferred her to the new enclosure, which included a small hide, which she inhabited shortly and about 30 min later, I found the hide entrance all barricaded. I have heard they do do this in pre-moult, but she moulted about a week ago...
So my boehmei sling moulted less than a month ago. The 8th of Jan to be exact. I think she's on her 3rd instar (shes about 5cm). I rehoused her to something bigger last week. Since the rehousing I have fed her twice. She is a vigorous eater and usually always out and about. Yesterday she was...

So it's been 4 days and she hasn't removed the molt from her hide. And she has been out and active. She sits on the glass during the day, and retreats to her hide at night.. I hope it doesn't grow mold? Also her abdomen is tiny. I hate the post-molt feeding waiting period... Her fangs are black...
I just threw it out the window. It's very hard to see un-eaten parts in the substrate from crickets as small as I feed him.
I also replaced the substrate just in case :)
