Hi!!
I have an Acanthoprynus coronatus (her name is Treffy) in an enclosure with a piece of wood and a plant on it c:
Recently I found some random bugs that wasn't there before and I'm not sure if they would be a problem for Treffy... I tried to get a photo and a video, they are quite small...
I had luck that she left it a bit when I looked at her today and took my chance.
I opened it and it has eggs :v?!?!?
Probably not going to develop but wot? #soconfusedomg
Hello!!
So I was just checking up on my Bonnetina papalutlensis since she was building a nice mat and I thought she was going to molt... But she built an egg sac.
She molted one week after I got her and after that she has never been bred so I definitely think is a fake egg sac and now I'm...
Nope :c I don't have a red light but I'll try getting one
I just left her alone with the crickets inside so she can eat whenever she feels comfortable.
I think she ate one because I only found one last time I checked but I'm not entirely sure since they hide in the enclosure background sometimes :|
Hello everyone!!
Since a long time ago I was searching for a tailless whip scorpion and finally last november I was able to get an Acanthophrynus coronatus in a convention in my city.
Although.... she hasn't eaten since I got her :')
I've tried feeding her lobster roaches and crickets but it...
Haha it seems that roaches develop well with other species. I've never had the chance to have babies but the last 2 that I bought came with some so I hope they grow and I may be able to stop buying for a while.
Thank you for your comment :D
Hello everyone! I want to ask for your opinions
I've kept both red runner and lobster roaches but never at the same time. Since some of my tarantulas may seem to prefer different species of feeders (they think this is a restaurant or something), I don't want to have too many containers so I...
Thank you for your words.
I didn't want to be moving her around anymore so I took my time and buried her under some pretty plants.
Just to lighten the mood a little bit, here's a picture of Inari (always hungry and eating a lot) and her showy neighbor Amida (B. auratum).
Sadly my T. vagans, Inari, left me today.
In the morning I gave her some water and still moved but after coming from work, she was totally still.
I just wanted to let you know and thank you for your help, kind comments and support. I really appreciate it.
I'll take care of my other...
Thank you very much!
As an update. She's still alive.
She stayed in this position since the last time I commented here. Once (like... Wednesday or so) she tried to climb towards the top part of her hide and stayed there on her belly for some houts but then the next day I found her on her back...
Thank you for answering.
I also don't think she's molting but I'll leave it there and just keep an eye on her.
The temperature of the room is between 20°-23°C most of the time since I haven't turned off the heater.
Well, I think she's not gonna make it.
Yesterday I flipped her so I can give her water and kept it like that on the enclosure.
I was going to put her in ICU again but she crawled to her hide. I thought to leave her like that overnight because she kept moving her legs.
Today she awoke on the...
