So is the solution to then stop feeding your T all together until its abdomen shrinks OR to feed it smaller meals less frequently until its abdomen shrinks?
Just out of curiosity how DID you go about cutting it? I used a drimmel for the acrylic I used ontop of my 60 gal fresh water, but it isn't exactly pretty. (then again it is significantly larger)

I wouldn't worry about it now, but when a T gets bigger they can pile up the substrate all the way up to the lid and then use the leverage of their bodies to pop open the container. Just something to think about!
Legality isn't an issue I live in California, but my parents would flip their **** if I started a roach colony! Besides, I only have one gecko and one subadult tarantula to feed. I would be overrun in a month!
