    The T will be 4-5cm approx. I was hoping they would be ok in plastic because as you say Chubbs glass can be expensive. How big would you guys recommend the box be for a 4-5cm T? Thanks , Joe

    Housing a brachypelma smithi?

    Hi guys , I am going to buy a brachypelma smithi soon as i have a case of T fever only got my first T on the 3rd :D:D. I was just wondering what best to house the T in a vivarium or a plastic box? I have seen videos and pictures of them kept in both. What would you guys recommend? Thanks , Joe :)

    Thanks guys , i had tropical fish flakes and orange peices in there but ill get some veggies to put in there. Kymura i am the same i hate them aswell lol. I was advised to spray the egg box the crickets hide under for water but that didnt sound right to me o_O.

    Hi Kymura :), thanks for the advice i just checked and thankfully there are no fibres in the water dish. Awesome that you rescued a T!! :D Yeah i have definately have caught the fever , already got a mexcican red knee in my basket at the spider shop (same place i brought the G Porteri) cant...

    Hi Meludox it is cocofiber substrate so i will check again in a couple off days , thanks :). T is 3-4 inches

    Hi Nicolas , thanks for the advice i just felt substrate and it does feel a little moist. Is there a way i could dry it or would you recommend changing the substrate? I did offer a hide but it hasnt used it so far. Already thinking one more ;-)
