Just for ****s and giggles I wanted to see if anyone could take a guess if it's a male or female. I've been looking at pictures and doing comparisons and it looks like a male to me?
I found a picture of it right after it finished molting. I knew it was in premolt so I made sure to keep its water dish full and let it overflow a bit. You can see the damp side vs dry side in this picture
So when I checked on my B. Smithi I noticed the molt was still attached to its abdomen and it was essentially dragging the molt around as it was walking. I checked on the forum and I did the wet paintbrush and it seemed to work.
