I have a young curly hair in one of those plastic pet keepers from the grocery store. I am having a really hard time finding something more permanent that isn't too large and/or has huge airholes that the crickets might escape. Any ideas?

Very new to the hobby, but I do have reptile experience. I’m trying to figure out if I can keep a tarantula in my glass lidded terrarium and start there.
I have a glass terrarium that has a closed lid so there’s no mesh but it can be opened it’s not permanently sealed. It has live plants can I keep a small tarantula in it?
