Awesome!!! I'll keep an eye on them. I'm willing to bet there'll be no messing around at her next feeding. She sometimes toys with them and stalks them. But I'm thinking this time she's not going to be doing that.

I'm guilty of having my girl (Tavia) out about once a week. I like the idea of her being use to being handled. She seems to enjoy sitting on my knee or the back of my hand. She'll lie flat on her belly and stretch out her legs. She's such a docile girl. I've never seen her flick hairs once...

Those are coconut husks and it's all the pet store had at the time. I plan to switch it the first chance I get.

Yea that's all the local pet store had at the time unfortunately (small town). But as soon as I have the chance I'm getting something proper.

I really wish she'd stay this color. She's gorgeous. I'm taking tons of pictures because eventually I want to have a tattoo done of her. I think I'd prefer to get it done of her after moult. Could I see a picture of your G. porteri?

My T moulted Sunday/Monday (her 1st with me) and when she was done I was completely floored at the difference in colour! Is that normal? She went from an orange/brown colour to grey/silver and black with two pink spots. One on either side of her eyes. Does that usually happen? Before: After:

Is it normal for her to stretch out flat after a molt?

Lol and that's EXACTLY what happened. She sat all day and did nothing. And then molted once I went to sleep. I was so looking forward to seeing her molting lol. But the important thing is that she successfully and safety molted.

She made it out!!! It's 5:20am. Woke up to go get a drink. Checked on her and she was all the way out! Her color is completely different and she's HUGE!!! Thanks everyone!!!:T:
