Still, a fun topic.

The new style I will be using for all my arboreal slings, started so far with my Avicularia slings.
Avicularia Avicularia
Avicularia Purpurea
Avicularia Laeta
Avicularia Versi color
Avicularia Bicegoi
Avicularia sp. Peru Purple

The idea behind it is least disturbance for arboreal Tarantula slings, with this new way the following should be achieved.
- opening the enclosure no disturbance to the webbing/retreat
- misting or feeding no disturbance to the enclosure or minimal.
- changing substrate/enclosure care, yet again minimal to no disturbance.
- even the decoration is part of the upper part of the enclosure, so its stationary.
Hopefully I can achieve good care results with this for all my arboreal species, having no mortalities or unhealthy tarantulas if this and general care like humidity etc is employed.

Haha,I said the same and I have added way more than planned. I have added another Avicularia azuraklaasi last night,so another Avic to the growing list.

I want to get a burrower. Any suggestions?

There are many types, like Hysterocrates Gigas/Cameroon red baboon,p.muticus/King baboon,p.murinus/orange baboon tarantula or orange bitey thing, m.balfouri/socotra island blue baboon just to mention a few ah also the h.lividum/cobalt blue. Depending what you want,docile etc. The best out of the above choices would be m.balfouri,all the others are defensive/aggressive.

Do you have personal experience with the M.balfouri?

No not me,I've spoken to a few people who actually have them two members here would know more. They are also communal, and are beautiful T's. The two members are,entomology and cerat.

Its a female yes, I have a passion more of an addiction lmao. Also I've been a bit lazy, I need to add a lot more photos etc of all the ones I have. Oh yes, I love the pokies now with my Avics and lampropelmas.
